So I'm a total charity chick right, not in "I need help, oh-whoa-is-me" type of charity, but that I like to help when I can especially when it involves children. I've donated to charities like March of Dimes and Make a Wish Foundation and like to just give things away - so opposite of E. Not that he's opposed to it, it's just not something that calls him. That's why when he did this Mustache for Kids fundraiser last year, it was a little bit surprising.
It's that time again and I have happily joined forces with my better half whom we will call "The Fuzz" for this shout out. For those of you who aren't familiar with Mustache for Kids, it's a volunteer-run organization started in Los Angeles in 1999 to do good and have fun by growing Mustaches for children’s charities. They really do grow or at least attempt to grow 'staches, have meetings at the local watering hole, spread the word on their chosen charities, and have a grand time.
This year, I will be working with The Fuzz by offering mini photo sessions at the Orangevale Community Park located on Hazel Avenue at Oak Avenue. This is how it works:
Sign up for a 15-minute photo session held on either Sat, Nov 28 or Sun, Nov 29
Choose a package -Package 1: Session, 1-8x10 or 2-5x7 prints :: $40
Package 2: Session, Up to 10 HiRes edited photos on CD w/print rights :: $75
50% of your fee is donated to The Fuzz who will divide the monies between his chosen charities.
Approx. 1 week after your session, you will receive the rest of your package
Immediately after your donation, you will receive the warm fuzzies (not provided by The Fuzz)
Or if you'd like to bypass the photo taking session and just place a donation, please do so by clicking here: Donate to Mustache for Kids - The Fuzz page.
